What is a gaming marathon? A gaming marathon is an event during which gamers play as long as they can (in this case up to 12 hours) to raise money. How does it work? Participants seek pledges from friends, family, and local business. People pledge to donate a set amount of money per hour the gamer plays. For example, if a donor pledges one dollar per hour and the gamer plays for 12 hours, than the donor will donate 12 dollars to the cause. Who benefits from this marathon? Participants choose their own causes for this marathon. Can I participate in this event? No, unfortunately this event is invite only. You are more than welcome to pledge a donation to one of the participating staff and even play with us online while we are gaming during the marathon. Who's participating and what are their causes? Adam Curtis (Synchronize7) & Frankie Cruser (C IR U S E IR) - Operation R-B Support Operation R-B Support is an organization in Adam's school that sends care packages to soldiers including R-B alumni serving with the US Armed Forces in the Middle East.
